RO Leak Repair in Mahanoy Plane, PA
RO systems leak in predictable places, and a slow drip under the sink can soak a cabinet floor for weeks before anyone notices it swelling.
The usual suspects: quick-connect fittings where the tubing was cut at an angle or pushed in short of the internal O-ring. Filter housings where an O-ring dried out or got pinched during a filter change. The drain saddle, where the clamp has worked loose on a plastic drain. The faucet base. The membrane housing cap.
Bear Water Purification connects Mahanoy Plane, PA homeowners with plumbers who trace the leak to the exact fitting, recut tubing square, replace collets and O-rings, and pressure check the whole system before leaving. Fittings that have been reused too many times get replaced, since the grab teeth inside wear down.
A leak detector with an automatic shut-off is a cheap addition under the sink, and some newer systems ship with one.
If a leak is spraying right now, close the feed valve on the cold line and the valve on top of the tank.
